Most Christians are familiar with the concept of healing lines and prayers for healing whether or not they've had personal experience with either of these events. However, we'd like to suggest that this is not God's (YHWH's - God's name) best for us. While healing is necessary and definitely part of the provision of the covenant in Y'shua's blood, we believe Yahweh's best is prevention of disease. The Bible tells us:

"All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you obey Yahweh your God...
Yahweh will make you the head and not the tail, and you only will be above, and you will not be underneath, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God, which I charge you today, to observe them carefully" Deuteronomy 28:2,13

However, if we do not obey,

"15 But it shall come about, if you do not obey Yahweh your God, to observe to do all His commandments and His statutes with which I charge you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:" 

"21Yahweh will make the pestilence cling to you until He has consumed you from the land where you are entering to possess it.
22 "Yahweh will smite you with consumption and with fever and with inflammation and with fiery heat and with the sword and with blight and with mildew, and they will pursue you until you perish."

58 "If you are not careful to observe all the words of this law (torah) which are written in this book, to fear this honored and awesome name, Yahweh your God,
59 then Yahweh will bring extraordinary plagues on you and your descendants, even severe and lasting plagues, and miserable and chronic sicknesses.
60 "He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt of which you were afraid, and they will cling to you.
61 "Also every sickness and every plague which, not written in the book of this law, Yahweh will bring on you until you are destroyed." Deuteronomy 28:15, 21-22, 58-61

WHY would Yahweh do this?

45 "So all these curses shall come on you and pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you would not obey Yahweh your God by keeping His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you.  Deuteronomy 28:45

Truly:

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also will reject you from being My priest.
Since you have forgotten the law (torah = teaching/instructions) of your God,
I also will forget your children.
Hosea 4:6

It's time to take the Word of God seriously and apply what He said since:

The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever.
Isaiah 40:8

Repeatedly in His Word, YHWH tells us that He means what He said: ALL of it.
