Many times we've heard people say that the New Testament "did away" with something in the Old, that it "changed" what the Old was saying, specifically when it comes to believers applying anything the Old Testament has to say, today.

But, can God contradict Himself? Does “the Word” (Bible) contradict itself? Isn’t Y’shua (Jesus) the “Living Word,” the living representation of what God said? If so then how can the New Testament contradict the Old? If we believe this, then it seems we are saying that God and Y’shua can contradict themselves! If they can, then how can the Bible be "inerrant"?

We believe there is no contradiction between Old and New, because Y'shua did NOT come to contradict the Old Testament. Indeed, as our example He lived according to it, perfectly.
