Jesus (Y'shua) is referred to as the only "perfect man" who ever lived. Why does He have this title? Because Scripture gave it to Him:

"And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal
     salvation" Heb 5:9

The Bible tells us that He was perfect. How was He perfect? The Bible also answers this question:

"For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who
has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin." Heb 4:15

So, His perfection was that He was SINLESS. As we've seen from Grace vs. "the Law" and New Testament vs. Old Testament here on Points to Ponder, these Scriptures simply reinforce that our example and model lived according to the Torah ("the law").

How does this apply to us, today?

"By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to

walk just as He walked." 1 John 2:5-6

Scripture also tells us that we are to live as Our Messiah did. Therefore, since He lived according to the Torah, so should we today, even as "New Testament" believers.
